Born in England, Vikki lived in the following places whilst her father was still in the Army; Tidworth, Waterbeach, Munster and Hameln before moving to live in Andover in 1994. Over the next two years Vikki had numerous gold fish as pets and several hamsters. She offered them the same loving care as she does the two cats, Monster & Tiger, that are fed and owned by Nigel and Moira next door, but seem to constantly live in our house.
Vikki's school reports started to show a steady improvement since our return to England. A fact that Sharon and I were very pleased with. Throughout her last years at school, ALL the teachers had very pleasing comments to make to us when ever we visited the schools on open evenings.
December 1997. Vikki has been suffering from headaches for some time. This month was her second appointment at Andover Memorial Hospital. We were advised to keep her off cheese, chocolate and caffeine for a month and then return towards the end of January. Christmas was quite a challenge to Vikki but with her customary resolve she got through it.
January 1998. The doctor advised that Vikki should continue without those things she loves for another month. At the end of this time normal eating was resumed and the headaches did not return.
Vikki carried out work experience with the Defence Housing Executive, in Aldershot during July 1999. I felt very proud taking Vikki to work at this time, and she received very good reports from Chris Bancroft who was tutoring her.
Vikki took seven GCSE's during June/July 2000.
Her results, received on 24 August were as follows:

English Grade DC
French Grade D
Maths Grade F
RS Grade E
Design & Tech Grade E
Science Double Grade EE
Sharon and I were very pleased with these results. Vikki now starts college at Cricklade in September 2000.
In December 2000, Vikki had a break from college for a week. During this time she carried out work experience with Thompson publishers, on the Walworth Estate. This was next door to Orvis, where Sharon was working.
Vikki left college in June and for 2 months in the summer worked for AIM Finance.
On returning from holiday in America, she had a successful job interview and starting work for ASM Ltd as a data processor on Monday 5 November 2001. Vikki had to work a probationary period of three months; this soon passed and now is on the permanent staff.
